Developing Zambian Entrepreneurs

Ken Dickson, Axiom-e's founder, is honoured to have been invited to help Zambia 2050 achieve their goal of developing the next generation of Zambian leaders.

With a desire to help young Zambian entrepreneurs establish sustainable, profitable businesses to help reduce the level of poverty in their country, the Zambia 2050 team, in conjunction with the University of Kitwe, invited Ken to run a Masterclass on the fundamentals of good business.

The course, The Pillars of Business Success, was held in Kitwe in May 2017, and was well received by 36 entrepreneurs ranging from novice to experienced business people.

Through the course's interactive structure, delegates learned some technical business skills whilst practising soft skills such as communication.

One of those attending the course in Kitwe reported that he had "... applied what I learned on the course to secure funding for my social enterprise!"

Ken will be back in Kitwe for the Zambia 2050 Next Level Business Conference. In the meantime he is helping to set up a UK-based charity to raise funds to facilitate various Zambia 2050 activities.
